A nursery school teacher was slapped six times by a child’s mum - and then sacked - after being filmed abusing the kid in front of her other pupils.
The teacher surnamed Qu lost her temper with the boy, surnamed Geng, after he refused to cooperate in class at Hongying Kindergarten.
During class in Tanghe County, in Central China’s Henan Province, the boy is said to have been unwilling to participate in group activities and also did not want to nap with the rest of the children after lunch.
Qu then spent some 30 minutes wrestling with the boy, hitting him on the head and face, as well as throwing him to the ground.
She is said to have done this in front of all her other pupils in order to teach the boy a lesson and make an example out of him.
The shocking video shows the boy getting back to his feet after being knocked down, but the teacher pushes him back onto the floor again - three times.
According to local authorities, the boy’s parents stormed to the nursery school and demanded to view the CCTV footage after their son claimed to have been mistreated.
The child’s mum slapped the teacher six times across the face after seeing the footage, and the educator was given the sack on the spot.
The school has also issued a public apology to the parents for the teacher’s behaviour.
