This unbelievable clip taken during a screening of "Fast 8" shows a group of cinemagoers brawling inside the theatre after a cheating man spotted his cheating girlfriend sitting nearby.
Fans of Vin Diesel and the "Fast & Furious" franchise were only halfway through the hotly anticipated flick when several of the audience members began yelling at each other at the Showtime Plaza in Chiayi City, in south-western Taiwan.
According to the author of the short video, named Lee Kuo-huei, he and his friends were also engrossed in the movie officially titled "The Fate of the Furious" or "F8" when the fight broke out.
On his social media post now viewed more than 1 million times at the time of writing, Lee said the audience member brought his "side girl" to the film, but was shocked when he bumped into his actual girlfriend - who also had her arms around another man.
The awkward and confusing situation then escalated after the cheating boyfriend became furious real fast and started attacking his girlfriend’s new lover.
The pair punched and kicked each other, forcing staff at the theatre to turn on the lights mid-screening.
The dramatic brawl is made even more awkward by the faces of Vin Diesel and Charlize Theron appearing on the screen in the background as cinemagoers are left choosing between both on-screen and off-screen fights.
The scuffle was eventually broken up by Showtime Plaza staff and both couples were taken away by police.
It is unclear, however, whether the remaining audience members will be compensated for the interrupted show.
"The Fate of the Furious" was released on 14th April in Taiwan, and hundreds of thousands across Taiwan are still fighting over tickets for the best screenings.
